- Stamp image on card stock.
- Stamp image again on a piece of scratch paper.
- Cut carefully around the scratch paper image, cutting just inside the lines; this will be your mask.
- Place the mask on top of the card stock image.
- Stamp another image over a portion of the mask to create layered, interacting images.
- Remove the mask to see the finished look.
- To stamp a partial image, use tape to cover the part of the stamp you don't want to appear, ink the stamp, remove the tape, and stamp the image.
QUICK TIPS
- Try stamping on a sticky note and using the cut out image as your mask. The sticky note stays put on the card stock when stamping over the mask without additional adhesive.
- Store the mask with the stamp set so it can be used again when needed.
