UK-exclusive Christmas Cheer Challenge

Stampin' Up! has a long history of supporting philanthropic causes. 'Helping others' and 'making a difference' is part of our mission statement. Over the past two decades, almost three decades in fact, we are very proud to have seen demonstrators all over the world embrace these words and make a difference in the lives of others.

We are excited to be celebrating our 10th anniversary in the UK, and to mark this special occasion, Stampin' Up! UK has set a challenge to make a whopping 10,000 cards across two card-making weekends during 2017. These cards will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The first card-making weekend was called the ‘Birthday Wishes Challenge’ and took place earlier this year between Friday 23 June and Sunday 25 June. During the weekend our demonstrators rallied together to host events and, with your help, we produced a whopping 9,493 cards to donate to the charity.

Now we are getting ready for the second card-making weekend and we are calling on you to once again help our demonstrators to achieve something even bigger and better. The ‘Christmas Cheer Challenge’ takes place between Friday 1 December and Sunday 3 December and, due to the incredible success of the Birthday Wishes event, we are increasing the challenge goal to 20,000 cards. This means we will be attempting to make over 10,000 cards during our Christmas Cheer Challenge weekend.

We would love your help!

Below is all the information you need to know about our Christmas Cheer Challenge and how you can get involved:

  • On Friday 1 December, Stampin’ Up! UK is collaborating with demonstrator volunteers at a special kick-off event at Ronald McDonald’s Manchester House to officially launch our Christmas Cheer card-making weekend. We love a challenge and we are ready to roll up our sleeves and make lots of cards.

Throughout the day, we will be posting messages, photos, and Facebook Live videos on our Stampin’ Up! UK Facebook page. We will also be giving our Facebook followers the opportunity to win some fabulous Stampin’ Up! goodies, so make sure to tune in on the day and share all the fun with family and friends. We invite you to follow our Facebook page:

  • We would love your help with making cards to meet our 20,000 cards goal. Demonstrators up and down the country will be holding Christmas Cheer events during our special card-making weekend from 1-3 December. Stampin’ Up! events are so much fun and a great way to make new friends. If you would like to join a Christmas Cheer event, here are a few things you can do:

    • Contact your local demonstrator to find out if they are holding a Christmas Cheer event, or you can book your very own Christmas Cheer party.

    • If you don’t know a demonstrator, please visit our demonstrator finder to find one in your local area: http://www.stampinup.com/home/en-GB/demonstrator-finder

    • Look out for this logo, demonstrators holding Christmas Cheer events will use the logo to promote their events:
