When I wrap my Christmas presents (or any present) I like to add something handmade. This year as I’m getting ready for the holiday season, I’m making these simple embossed tags.
I started by embossing some images from the Joyous Celebrations and Merry & Type Stamp Sets on the First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper. I then added the Crumb Cake topper after running it through my Big Shot with one of the Finishing Touches Edgelits Dies. And I finished it off with a staple and Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine.
This one, however, is probably my very favorite of all time. The majority of my lovely little tags will probably end up looking just like this. There is a special place in my crafty little heart for truly beautiful typography.
I hope this inspires you to add a little something handmade to your holiday parcels and packages. It doesn’t have to take a lot of work to make a big impact, plus you’ll have a lot of fun in the process.
I love these tags! I make hand made tags for Christmas (and all gifts really) each year. It is fun designing them, stamping them and seeing how beautiful they look on the gifts!
