Simply Pressed Clay Mushroom Ornaments

A few days ago I tried Stampin’ Up!’s new Simply Pressed Clay for the very first time—and I absolutely fell in love with it! It’s lightweight, easy to mold, and absorbs ink beautifully.
I have a little bit of a Scandinavian Christmas theme at my house, so I thought I would try to make some mushroom ornaments with it—just to see how they would turn out.

To make the cloche ornament, cut the stem off a plastic glass using a dremel (or tool of your choice). Run wire or twine through a clear bead, create a loop for hanging, and adhere the bead with hot glue to the top of the cup. Cover the edges of the cut glass stem by encircling it with gold garland. Adhere the garland with hot glue.

Make a circular base for the cloche ornament using the Big Shot, Circles Collection Framelits, and Pool Party Cardstock. Reinforce the circular base by adhering it to Coaster Board.

Hot glue the mushroom to the circular base. Dab hot glue around the rim of the plastic cup and adhere it to the base.

These cute little ornaments were so easy to make! Please let us know if you have made anything fun with Simply Pressed Clay!

Very cute,I love the way it turned out. I formed little pancake shapes at Halloween and pressed my stamp into it , trimmed around the pressed image and used the shape for an embellishment.
