My Digital Studio Design Contest FAQ
Q: The contest rules say that samples must be submitted as jpegs. Does this mean I can't submit a hybrid sample?
A: We are not accepting hybrid or traditional samples for this contest. Only digital samples will be accepted.
Q: What is one entry?
A: One card (any size) and two single-page layouts (any size).
Q: How do you export a jpeg from MDS?
A: First, open MDS and select or create a new project. Then, go to > Share Project (from your top toolbar menu or the design center)> Export to JPEG > Export Wizard > Save to Desktop (or other location).
Q: How large should the jpeg files be?
A: The total, combined size limit for all three attachments must be 7-8 MB--so we recommend that you save your attachments as web/email, small, or medium size files. Anything larger may risk not being delivered due to our email size constraints. If your total, combined email attachments will be larger than 8 MB, you should send your entries separately: label them as Entry 1, Entry 2, and so forth.
Q: What product may I use?
A: You may use any product that came with your My Digital Studio software or any Stampin' Up! digital download. Digital downloads are available for purchase at www.stampinup.com/downloads.
Q: May products that have been discontinued from the current catalogs be used in digital form for this contest?
A: Unlike our other products, Stampin' Up!'s digital products never retire. That means any product available from Stampin' Up! as a digital download or in the My Digital Studio software is available for use.
Q: May I use brushes or other digital products from other companies?
A: No. Only Stampin' Up! digital products may be used.
Q: If I enter the My Digital Studio Design contest, will I be competing against my demonstrator?
A: No. There will be five demonstrator and five customer winners. Demonstrator and customer submissions will be judged separately.
Q: What will I win?
A: You will receive My Digital Studio downloads through a credit to your customer account. The downloads will consist of the first $400 (approximately) worth of downloads that the company releases beginning January 4, 2011. Winners will not be allowed to pick and choose what downloads they receive. All winners will receive digital downloads.
Q: The contest says that it is open to all demonstrators/customers in US/CAN who have access to My Digital Studio; does this mean that if I live in Quebec I can participate?
A: No. My Digital Studio Design contest rules state the following: "Contest is void in Quebec, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands."
