Stampin' Up! Recognized As One of Utah's Most Family Friendly Companies
Leading Direct Sales Company Receives Work/Life Award for Second Time
SALT LAKE CITY (March 24, 2004) -The Utah Department of Workforce Services has chosen Stampin' Up!® as a 2003 Utah Work/Life Award winner. This is the second consecutive year that Stampin' Up! has received this prestigious award, which recognizes Utah's top 10 most family friendly companies.
"Employees are Stampin' Up!'s biggest asset and number-one priority," said Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up! cofounder and CEO. "We seek to support employees in their family commitments, personal growth, and plans for the future. We are pleased to be recognized as one of Utah's family friendly companies."
Award nominees are evaluated by their policies regarding benefits, time off, child and elder care, and education assistance. Other factors, such as the encouragement of community involvement and a balanced life, are also considered. Stampin' Up! works to keep its 500 employees happy with a generous benefits package. A cheerful corporate culture is maintained through monthly birthday recognition, regular Stampin' Days where employees can hand stamp cards for loved ones, generous company parties, a company softball team, and other activities. Stampin' Up! constantly strives to foster a pleasant workplace where employees can come to work happy and have enough flexibility to take care of their families.
Gardner will receive the award on behalf of Stampin' Up! at an Awards Celebration Breakfast this morning at the Peery Hotel in Salt Lake City.
