Stampin' Up! Holds Leadership Conference for Top Demonstrators
1,000 Journals Created for Ronald McDonald House Charities
SALT LAKE CITY (January 8, 2004) - Guests at Ronald McDonald Houses across the country will be receiving hand-stamped journals soon, courtesy of Stampin' Up!® and the company's leading demonstrators. As part of Stampin' Up!'s new national sponsorship of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), demonstrators attending the company's annual Leadership Conference will be stamping the journals.
The theme for this year's Leadership Conference, which opens today at the Salt Palace, is Love, Serve, Lead. Classes and general sessions focus on helping demonstrators become effective leaders for their fellow demonstrators, as well as providing tips for running an efficient business. Attendees also have the opportunity to make cards for themselves and others, and stamp the journals for RMHC.
"We are proud of the dedication and enthusiasm of our demonstrators," said Shelli Gardner, CEO and cofounder of Stampin' Up! (www.stampinup.com), one of the nation's leading manufacturers and distributors of decorative rubber stamps and accessories. "We want them to succeed and enjoy their businesses. This year's Leadership Conference will provide our demonstrators with wonderful tools to help them achieve their goals."
Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference will run through Friday, January 9. General sessions will open each morning at 9:30 AM, and classes will be held throughout the afternoon. In addition, Ronald McDonald himself will make an appearance during the stamping project on Friday at 3 PM.
