Stampin' Up! Helps Utah Children Learn More about Business and Economics

SALT LAKE CITY (September 19, 2005) - Stampin' Up!® is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Junior Achievement® (JA) program at Rose Creek Elementary School. As part of its sponsorship, Stampin' Up! will donate $8,000 to buy materials and supplies for the JA program and will provide 23 volunteers to work at the school.

Volunteers will help educate students about business, economics and free enterprise through classroom discussions and a series of hands-on activities. Activities will focus on working as an individual, as well as in the family, community, city, nation and world.

Stampin' Up! will kick off its sponsorship of Rose Creek Elementary JA program with an afternoon event on Tuesday, September 20, at its corporate office building and distribution center. Stampin' Up! employees will host Ms. Robyn Anderson's fourth-grade class and JA representatives, giving them a tour of the facilities, a presentation on Stampin' Up!'s business and a small gift to take home.
