SALT LAKE CITY - How many times have you thought this over the last three days--o.k.--over the last three hours? The average office worker sends and receives 108 e-mails per day, and "being connected" is definitely not making our lives happier. A 2007 American Psychological Association (APA) survey showed that 48 percent of Americans feel their lives have become more stressful in the last five years due to work encroaching on personal time and people being made available 24/7 through PDAs and cell phones.

Stampin' Up! is declaring June eScape month, and is encouraging everyone to get involved in a movement to celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and letters, and the personal connection they create when given to others. The official call to take a break and eScape from some of the excessive e-communications is June 25, although Stampin' Up! independent consultants called "demonstrators,"  will hold various stamping events throughout the month of June to kick off eScape.

Card making enthusiasts of all skill levels are encouraged to come together and share their creative passion for the art of personal and hand crafted communication. Disconnect, unplug and unwind, and get back in touch with your "wireless" network. It's time to eScape!
