SALT LAKE CITY--This coming October will mark the 20-year anniversary for Stampin' Up!, a direct-sales company that designs and manufactures an exclusive line of decorative rubber stamps, accessories and self-adhesive vinyl art. To commemorate this momentous occasion, the company announced today at its annual convention in Salt Lake City the inaugural presentation of Shelli's Signature Collection--a line of products personally inspired by Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up!'s cofounder and CEO.
Well-known as a leader in the craft industry and for her creativity and style, Shelli's collection will contain items designed with her personal art direction. This natural extension of the Stampin' Up! brand offers an opportunity for Shelli to share her personal creative tastes through select products that span all product lines.
When asked about the new line, Gardner responded, "The line will be as diverse as it is beautiful and will include some of my favorite styles from elegant and vintage to modern and classic. With the creation of this line, I wanted to share a piece of myself with those who have helped build Stampin' Up! throughout the past 20 years as well as those who will be with us for the years to come."
As part of her collection, Shelli also announced a series of custom dies that will work with the Sizzix® Big Shot die-cut machine. This partnership with Ellison, Inc. (Sizzix) will introduce three signature dies from Shelli's collection, ten exclusive Stampin' Up! dies and 30 Sizzix dies. All Stampin' Up! dies were designed to coordinate with existing stamp sets and accessories to enhance the customers' usability.
"Stampin' Up! decided to partner with Ellison and incorporate the Sizzix Big Shot die-cut machine into our product line because it is the only die-cutting machine on the market that incorporates rule-based die technology to create and develop projects using over 50 kinds of materials," said Amy Swartz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Stampin' Up!. "The Sizzix Big Shot offers our demonstrators and customers, the tools necessary to produce endless creative possibilities in all their paper-crafting or home-décor needs."
Shelli's Signature Collection will be available in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog beginning September 2, 2008 and can be purchased through any Stampin' Up! demonstrator in the United States and Canada.

About Shelli Gardner
Shelli Gardner is the co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!, who in 1988, with little college or business experience, invested her family's nest egg (intended to finance building a new home) to launch Stampin' Up! She and her sister built the business model based upon other direct-sales companies and added their own personal touch. They envisioned the company working much like a family, where each demonstrator could participate at whatever level worked best for their personal circumstances. In addition to being a full-time mom to five children and grandmother to twelve, Gardner is a frequent speaker at trade shows and colleges and has been awarded many accolades in the business and craft industry. In 1999, Ernst & Young awarded her with the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Gone are the days of ragged paper edges, lopsided cutouts and hours of wasted time. Now is the time of the space-efficient, easy-to-use and affordable Sizzix System. Ellison developed the technology for the original Sizzix Machine, and in 2001 the Sizzix brand was created and launched. Since then, Sizzix has developed a complete line of machines, dies and accessories. Sizzix machines are versatile and affordable, making them a hit with everyone from novices to professional designers. Sizzix has received numerous awards, including winning the Creating Keepsakes' Readers' Choice Award for Best Die-Cut Equipment every year since 2003.
