Stampin’ Up!® Disclosure for the State of California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

Stampin’ Up! expects all of its suppliers to comply with the applicable laws and regulations of the United States and those of the respective country of manufacture or exportation. While 80 percent of Stampin’ Up! products are manufactured domestically, Stampin’ Up! will not conduct business with any supplier that uses involuntary labor of any kind; including prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor, or labor obtained through human trafficking or slavery. Pursuant to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (2012), below is a disclosure of the efforts Stampin’ Up! takes to ensure that human trafficking plays no part in our direct supply chain.

Verification:

Stampin’ Up! product development team conducts regular inspections of manufacturers, both foreign and domestic, to verify safety and working conditions. Inspections also include monitoring for human trafficking and slavery risks within the supply chain. Inspections are conducted by members of the Stampin’ Up! product development team, who receive training in identifying potential human trafficking and slavery risks.

Audits:

The Stampin’ Up! product development team conducts regular audits of all manufacturers, both foreign and domestic, to verify the safety and working conditions. The audit includes monitoring for human trafficking and slavery risks within the supply chain. When potential violations are identified, a course of action is determined to best address them.

Certification:

Aside from submitting to regular inspections, suppliers are not required to offer certification that materials incorporated into the company’s product comply with trafficking and slavery laws in the country or countries in which the suppliers do business.

Internal Accountability:

All Stampin’ Up! product development team employees attend regular training in identifying potential human trafficking and slavery risks. Stampin’ Up! will not conduct business with any supplier that uses involuntary labor of any kind; including prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor, or labor obtained through human trafficking or slavery. When potential violations are identified, a course of action is determined to best address them.

Training:

All Stampin’ Up! product development team employees receive training as part of their employee orientation upon hire and are also required to attend regular trainings in identifying potential human trafficking and slavery risks.
